This policy describes what information snapnedit ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, tools, editor, and API, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account information — if you sign in, we store your email address and an identifier from your sign-in provider.
- Uploaded photos — the images you upload to a tool, the editor, or the API, so we can process and return the result to you.
- Usage data — which operations you run and when, so we can meter credit usage and diagnose problems.
- API keys — a one-way hash of any API key you create; the plaintext key itself is shown to you once and not stored in retrievable form.
How photos are used
Uploaded photos are used solely to perform the operation you requested (background removal, upscaling, etc.) and to return the result to you. We do not use your photos to train AI models, and we do not sell your photos or personal data to third parties.
Retention
Uploaded photos and processed results are retained only as long as needed to serve your request and support short-term troubleshooting, after which they're deleted on a routine schedule. Account and billing records are retained as needed for the account to function and for legitimate business/legal purposes (e.g. tax records for purchases).
Third-party processing
Some operations are performed by third-party AI infrastructure providers under contract, solely to generate the result you requested. We don't share your photos with anyone beyond what's needed to run the operation you asked for.
Your choices
You can delete your account, revoke API keys, and request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see below). If sign-in isn't configured for a given deployment, tool usage is anonymous and no account data is collected at all.
Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to the contact address listed on our website.
